Seth Chase, Director

Seth is an American film maker based in Rwanda. He has been working in the international film industry since 2001. For the last five years he has been making documentary shorts and advocacy films in and around East Africa. His 2011 short film 'Bang For Your Buck' - on weapons trafficking in Burundi - was critically acclaimed and honoured internationally.

Ben is a PhD researcher based in Kinshasa, studying the historical evolution of labour regimes associated with gold production in South Kivu of the DRC. Before beginning his PhD, he worked on human rights and workers' rights issues in Kenya, Burundi and the DRC, finishing as Regional Director for the American NGO Heartland Alliance.

Evrard is an independent media producer from Burundi. Based in Bujumbura, he has worked for Renaissance Television, the most popular TV station in Burundi, and the Burundian independent newspaper IWACU. His documentary 'Suzanne' won best documentary and best sound design at Burundi's 2012 international film festival, FESTICAB.

Guillaume is Belgian and has been working in Kigali, Rwanda since early 2012. In 2010, he co-produced with Seth Chase the documentary 'Bang for Your Buck', as well as the short-documentary 'Think. Eat. Save.'. From 2009 to 2011, Guillaume worked in Burundi with the Belgian Technical Cooperation providing institutional support to the Ministry of Health.

Julie is an interactive media developer and storyteller. She  relocated to Burundi in 2014, and enjoyed the opportunity to get out from behind the computer and work in the field. For the last eight years, she has been developing web and mobile applications for ESPN, Disney, and other media outlets.
